Here's an outfit from a couple weeks ago. Red sweater dress, black tights, black suede Aquatalias. It was a chilly morning, hence the bright pink tweed coat. The dress has a matching removable cowl/scarf. I was singing for a patriotic ceremony that day (Marine Corps birthday) so I couldn't go too wild underneath, but the big red beads filled in the neckline nicely. </p> <p>I'm going to be looking for more maximal ways to wear my sweater dresses!</p> <p>Incidentally, I had an experience like Suz did with the Aquatalias. I wore them into work during a downpour. They were drenched all the way to the knee! ... on the outside. My feet and legs stayed totally dry, except right at the top where my tights wicked dampness down for an inch. Moreover, the suede outside dried just fine by lunchtime. It was awesome! I really love these boots now. </p>
