At their yikes-y price point, I really feel they need to be a *10* on this body and that I need to feel like I have died and gone to heaven. If the rise were .5” to 1” higher in front, they would be more flattering. Or maybe the elastic needs to be a tad looser although it is not actually tight. And yes, I have jeans that fit like this. But on me, these babies are a *9* at best. For me they turned out to be strictly very casual wear, possibly because not the actual real cool thing, and possibly because I don't quite have the swagger to dress them up. I may still have a pair from American Eagle in my fall/winter wardrobe that's still put away for now. I think it was her second pair and they didn’t fit her right so she sold them to me. I wore them a ton during the early “stay at home” days of the pandemic.
