I wore them all<br /> day yesterday and found them INCREDIBLY comfortable. They needed no breaking in at all. They did not cut off circulation, even when I<br /> was sitting for long periods, nor did they flop around. They did slide down a bit over the day (I<br /> think I could tie them tighter at the top) and there was no gapping. I think if I wore socks over tights they<br /> would fit more tightly and cause less slipping.<br /> They also fit over my skinnies!</p> <p>As far as fit, it seems like these are miracle boots from the reviews I read. They slide easily on<br /> and off for me because of the satin lining, and I don’t need to do any folding<br /> tricks or tugging. I don’t think thigh<br /> size is much of an issue given the way they work, since they are not pinchy at<br /> the top and won’t cause thigh muffin (is that a thing?). </p> <p>I have skinny calves and wide feet, so unlike many reviewers<br /> I did not size down and got a 6. That<br /> was the right move for me, since I will wear with socks and tights. Several<br /> people begged to try them on at work and people up to a 7.5 were able to get<br /> their foot inside, if narrow. </p> <p>The suede is UNREAL – it’s really soft and supple. I don’t know how much the shaft will stretch<br /> if at all – I hope not! The color of<br /> these boots is a nice deep neutral burgundy. </p> <p>If you have any specific questions, don’t hesitate to<br /> ask. You’ll see a lot of these in my<br /> winter WIWs!</p>
