They hit well above the ankle bone...not sure exactly what the spot is, but I'm posting some skirt pics with them tonight so you can see where they hit me. I feel them when I walk down stairs (you know the way your foot shifts as you move) but it's not in the least uncomfortable. However, they are hitting at an uncomfortable (physical, not aesthetic) place on my ankle. Do yours do that, and do you feel they will break in? Like when I walk up and down the stairs, they are stiff there especially on the front of my calf. </p>
