But it isn't that common here in the west. My current and previous homes were built in the 90's and don't have it. We do have gas heaters that we bought ourselves and have these on in the morning and evening.</p> <p>In the morning the girls (and me too sometimes) get dressed in front of one of them. There are bar heaters in 2 of their rooms but DH doesn't think them safe. I said something about minimums of 13 degrees C.</p> <p>Well that turned out to be one of those things where I couldn't remember the season because I wasn't in it!!</p> <p>The minimums have been around 2-3 C the last few days. And 4-6 is pretty common in winter</p> <p>Just wanting to correct an unintentional mistruth! </p>
