Bravo to you for doing what is best for your child and putting in the effort to home school him. I'm happy for him that he now appreciates the joy of books. This is a lovely summery look and it looks comfortable and dressy enough for the every day activities.

Isn't it funny how we waited until September to get our worst heat? Your dress looks cool and summery and the vest is a great addition. You did way better than I did. I worked at home yesterday and went for a walk, so I didn't get out of running shorts and a tee until it was time to get ready to go out last night!

Love the vest! Perfect addition for interest without adding too much warmth. Brave of you to take photos with workers watching :-0

I am dreaming of boots and layers of Fall as a psychological tool for surviving a heat wave..The first day of public school was the hottest of the season topping off at 98 F.

My daughter is now at BC and my house now only has one child left...Such a strange thing to get use to, but I love this stage of seeing them take off and fly!

Began homeschooling my youngest for high school yesterday and I am thrilled with his maturity level that has exploded over this last year... My reluctant reader actually said, "Mom, let's go look at the books" when we were in BJ's and picked out a four set for Maze Runner...DH was walking towards us in the store when he saw me whip my cart around in response to my son's request... You can't even imagine the long journey we've been on to get to the point where he asks for a book...Homeschooling is the right answer for this child!

My outfit was just a quick ,"What can I wear to take a short walk to the store to get salad items for dinner?" I timed my photos with the recycling truck guys watching me at the end of my driveway... Don't know if it was harder on me or my 14 yr old photographer? .Before leaving one of them shouted, "Nice Photos!" , as I breathed a sigh of relief that it was such a clean comment in front of DS....
NO purse, just a phone and credit card tucked in my pocket...
