I adore sunglasses, they are a signature look for me. </p> <p>I have accumulated a collection over many years, it helps that I rarely lose them, scratch them, etc. I had eye surgery years ago and I do not leave the house without sunglasses, even on cloudy days. My eye surgeon recommended Maui Jim for their lenses and I'm rather fond of their styles and colors so they are a main brand in my collection. The runner up brand for me is Ray Ban for their classic styles. I have a small collection because they're not cheap!</p> <p>Two pairs (one in pic 4) are frames I sourced in secondhand/vintage shops in Europe (Amsterdam and Vienna), and then brought home to have my prescription inserted. I seem to find European and vintage frames suit smaller faces.</p> <p>I also have frames by Portrait (pic 2) and LA Eyeworks (pic 3) and some very cool ones by Movitra (pic 1), an Italian brand. I’ve found that my favorite local optometrist/frame shop carries great frames that fit smaller faces. I would often browse the kids section looking for specs. Since cataract sx, I only need sunglasses at the moment and have been slowly building up my collection.<br />My bonus DIL was sporting a pair of sunglasses that I immediately fell in love with. They’re from a newish Canadian company kits.ca<br />I ordered the pair in pic one on Friday evening, they arrived in the mail Tuesday. Incredible. Size small fits really well.<br />For sports glasses, I’ve had good success ordering from Nativeeyewear.com. I’ve got two pairs of the Hardtopultra in sizes xs and small. Good quality sunglasses are so expensive, so I usually hunt sales, ebay, and poshmark. I also need smaller sized frames and lenses due to having a narrow face. The brands represented here are ones that either have narrower fits or have narrow options if that's helpful for anyone else! They are almost all polarized too.&nbsp;</p> <p>Here's where I've landed; some of these are easily a decade old and some were purchased second hand (from top left counter clockwise):<br />1) Silver and dark brown persol&nbsp;<br />2) Black persol<br />3) Light brown Garret Leight<br />4) Gold and brown Oakley aviators<br />5) Tortoiseshell oversized Warby Parker (in narrow)<br />6) Cheap black sunnies for beach, pool, etc.<br />7) Tortoiseshell&nbsp;Garret Leight</p> <p>Won't be getting any new pairs till one of these breaks or gets lost!
