I also struggle with transition dressing, especially heading towards warmer weather. It's always stressful to suddenly have to BARE body parts, yikes! I still haven't found that elusive third piece for summertime dressing.</p> <p>Last year I discovered crossover tops, and they were a godsend. Loose yet not sloppy.</p> <p>I love vests on other people, but havn't found the right one for me yet. And I too fear looking frumpy if I wear one with short sleeves, as opposed to sleeveless. I also hate summer dressing and find the "function before form" rule helps me ... just as in the dead of winter, fashion sometimes has to take the backseat, so it is in the dog days of summer. We don't live on a runway after all! I like a drapey tee for minimizing the bustline and skimming over bits. I got a couple from The Gap.
