This look (as well as dresses over trousers) seems more popular among our Australian members so perhaps there is regional variability. You might want to experiment with a diagonal sleeved tee in addition to a plain white one. I don't think the basic white tee will ever go out of style though.<br /> And what about a pair of summer sneakers in a fun colour, or white like the Converse mini wedges that Angie wears.<br /> I love the sound of the polka dot dress too. I have a few things left from last season, but below is my list for this year.</p> <p>My style goals are (more or less): Outfits must contain an element of fun. Must be relaxed and comfy. Age appropriate. Pulled together. Polished. (Do Pulled together and Polished gel with the other goals or am I confused?). No over purchasing for winter. Not dowdy.</p> <p><u><b>The list:</b></u><br /><b>Bottoms:</b> White BF jeans, Denim shorts (need to replace my 2 pairs), Black dressy shorts, White dressy shorts (I have a pair of white shorts that I could possibly wear. Some issues with it.) (I do have 2 pairs of BF jeans in blues.)<br /><b>Tops:</b> Black and white pattern T, T with flowers or other print on white background, White short sleeve shirt (it gets too hot here for 3/4 sleeves, but is a shirt with normal short sleeve length a bit dowdy?), another short sleeve shirt (unless you vote nay for white one). Some sleeveless top. (I have a few tops left from last year that can work with bottoms above.) (Apart from some ballet flats and converse type sneakers I have no other shoes left from last season.)</p> <p>Is this a good basic list?
