I'm particularly fond of the 2nd and 3rd options in photo #1, those booties are so awesome (I totally want a pair!). #2 is one of those where your eye needs to adjust, in this case to two things: the contrast (which I think you're ok with) and the shortening due to the higher shaft (that might be the issue). Mind, it leans heavily brown and I find myself wondering if white skinnies under might not be better? I've had an odd relationship with this WHBM dress, as it has a cool print in a traditional shirtdress silhouette, but it is a color I don't wear much and I feel like the shape over emphasizes the IT aspect of my frame. Shoes were a challenge, and is thought a bootie might be just the thing, but when I tried two pairs, a taupe suede number and some cut outs , I wasn't impressed. I ended up wearing some chunky Coach platform cage sandals in a dark brown, but wondered if I just have a poison eye for booties with dresses on me, or if it's the dress I'm really struggling with. The second photo is another recent attempt at booties with dress. This time my new Piccolino Brujas. I'm stumped! </p> <p>Do you find yourself in this type of conundrum as well, and how do you resolve it? I've learned a lot in the few months I've been on the forum, but today felt like a roadblock that I couldn't push through. I'd appreciate your thoughts on the matter. </p>
