For many years I had this strange idea that shorts didn't work for me. Now I realize it's all about finding the right one. You look fantastic in yours. Strong legs, slender frame, and there's nothing wrong with your skin, either.&nbsp;I love the drape of the tee, and the belt and shoes complete the outfit very nicely. Casual, but put together. Downside is that by mid July they'll be scorched, but sometimes the plants make it 'til fall and we get&nbsp;a second crop.</p> <p>Astrid- thank you, I'm starting to wear the white belt more often now that I have those shoes. And I knew that mentioning the tomatoes would get some snow comments. We do have a *very* early spring/summer down here. Last year it got too hot too quickly and the tomatoes didn't do well at all. This year is better as it hasn't gotten in the high 90's and 100's yet. If it makes you feel better, we'll be sweltering come mid-June and by August it's nearly unbearable 100's most every day. In the mid 80's I'll still wear jeans.</p> <p>Thanks rute - jackiec was my inspiration for getting those shoes after I saw her WIW wearing them.</p> <p>Janet - thanks for the kind words, I think you look great in shorts too. You know it's funny, there was a time when I felt like my legs were short and just not great. I think age is the only thing that really changed my mindset. So, after some early morning gardening (tomatoes&nbsp;are going to be ripe before long!)&nbsp;I took a shower and decided it was a perfect&nbsp;day for white and blue. All the white I've been seeing here on YLF nudged me to put these on. I don't wear them as often as other shorts but I'm not really sure why. They are very comfortable and can be rolled up/down as my mood sees fit.</p> <p>This is pretty much my summer uniform - either sandals or slip ons, comfortable tee or button down, belt, BF shorts and a necklace or bracelet.</p> <p>Tee: Gap last year<br />Shorts: KUT from the Kloth Catherine BFs<br />Shoes: UGG<br />Necklace: Jcrew<br />Belt: Can't remember now, Kohls I think</p> <p>As always, any comments, suggestions welcome!</p> </p>
