The others have almond toes. I am also size 8…too big for my frame. I look for those shoes with cap toes or something to break up the length visually. Long and sleek are not for me. I have had good luck with prints but only wear flats. A big decorative buckle or flower helps. </p> <p>I do not wear heels or sandals. &nbsp;Too unsure of my footing and not Enough foot protection. Straps that cross at the top, toe ring style, or thong style feel more secure than straight across straps. I like pointy toes to lengthen my feet (not sure if it’s that deliberate or I just like pointy) so maybe the opposite would help you? All of the sandals I've tried on make me feel like I'm a gangly kid again and my parents are taking me to the park. I'm not necessarily trying to make my feet look smaller, but I would like them to not look so unbearably awkward. If you have the same issue, what do you wear? </p>
