I had a pair very like these in the 90s and wore them to death. I was hoping to find a pair that didn't require an actual buckle to put on, and got lucky. I tried three different pairs and these White Mountains are what I chose. They are so well made, and were such a bargain (at Macy's), that I'm thinking about getting a pair in a different color.
