Any shorter than that, and it can be difficult.</p> <p>About styling...sometimes when you go shorter, like to a bob, it can be more work than having long hair. The hair is too short to be put up, but it is long enough that it has to be styled some way. So it always requires a little extra care, at least in my opinion. I have found that having longer hair can actually be lower maintenance because you have the option of just putting it up in a bun or something if you're having a bad hair day, whereas if you have a chin-length cut, you're stuck. Some layering can keep the hair short enough to wear open at work, yet long enough for a pony at home. It does get super hot in the kitchen!!! But professionally a bun.. Length helps with bun. I hate hair at my neck while humid.. But I'm not ready to commit to chin length or shorter.. I've in past and doesn't feel like me. Also I wear long earrings casually that go better with some what longer hair ..
