My first impulse was to say sure, why not? Then I wondered if the top might be too warm for summer (not in air conditioning, perhaps). Then I wondered if it might be considered too fitted. But truly, that would depend on the ethos of the group. I can't imagine anyone I know feeling offended -- the dark colour and modest sleeves would make it sort of blend into the background. But that would be on me. Additionally, the top you linked to has 3/4 length sleeves, which would certainly make it as warm (and as warm-looking) as a twinset with the sleeves scrunched. It will be in a church I do not attend, but that most of my neighbors do and the men will wear business suits or a cowboy version of suit, ladies in dresses or skirts.
