The top needs to be more tailored in the bodice, and have a proper shirt collar with buttons. Or the top has to have a high neck and flow down. As <b>Suz</b> said, the model isn't doing a good job of filling out that top either. Not enough real estate! It would look better and be a better fit on a body type with a larger bust and wider midsection. Hope that makes sense.&nbsp;</p> <p><b>Jules,</b> what a lovely comment. Thank you so much! Structure at the shoulder neck point gives me a stronger shoulder line (to compensate for my narrow shoulders), and shortens my very long neck. As different trends and proportions come down the pipe, she posts pictures and <i>explains in words</i> what's going on. This was huge for me - I am someone who could never figure out why certain looks/proportions worked or didn't. I would blame fashion or my body when I couldn't get things to work. This extends to home decor and other visual arenas as well.<br /> As someone with a very different body type, I do still sometimes have a hard time understanding when Angie explains why certain items don't work<i> for her </i>- and I think that's because we never see her in items that don't work! It all just looks so effortless and beautiful that there can be a gap in understanding why the stuff Angie <i>doesn’t </i> wear doesn't work I think I "get" most of it but "structure at the neck shoulder point" still puzzles me a bit. Like the first shirt. I can wear a <b>loose fit</b> like this if it isn't tied (i.e. it drapes) and has a higher neck. (Like 2 and 3) And/or if I tuck it or semi-tuck it instead of just tying it.&nbsp;</p> <p>I think you can actually see that the model is not especially flattered by this style. It's what I call "filling out" a silhouette. I have neither broad shoulders nor a larger bust - so lack that type of real estate. My real estate went to my very long neck!</p> <p>I wear very fluid items well, but they need to fit on the shoulders and shoulder neck point for structure. Neckline can't be too low, and bust can't be too baggy.
