There was even a long line outside the Birkenstock store!! We met her at her apartment and she cooked a fabulous dinner for us, and we hit it off so well we met up again a few days later for sightseeing. On the flip side, 10°C feels colder to me if it's damp...I suspect you'll want some sort of shell jacket/anorak to cut the wind and protect from rain.&nbsp;All that said, I don't think you will need boots and might feel out of place wearing them (plus they take up a lot of luggage real estate!). Sneakers and other closed-toe shoes should be fine. I bet you'll see locals in a mix of closed-toe shoes and sandals, jeans and shorts, tees, sweaters, and jackets. I live in a similar climate (Dublin) if I was going in summer I would wear sneakers and bring a light puffer jacket as that is what we wear in Dublin at this time of year. Weather is very changeable in our summers so layers are a good idea. However as you live in a warm climate your tolerance of cold is probably different to those of us who live in cooler places.
