I am a big fan of low rise and I’m glad they are getting popular again. @ Janet I have made a few mistakes buying high rise jeans but just could not style them on my short body. @Lyn67 that is a lovely compliment I have been to Italy several times and even had my wedding in Italy many years ago. I’m trying to get away from so much black but if I found a dress like that it would surely tempt me! </p> <p>Also a fan of lower rises even though my body type is very different from yours. Those pants are great on you! In my case a short torso makes a shorter rise easier to wear, especially if I intend to tuck a top. I have a pair of gorgeous Derek Lam trousers that I found on consignment that are a lower rise, but oddly enough, they need to be taken in at the waist. The dress was one of the only things I ever bought from a vintage clothes shop. I love looking through vintage shops especially when I go to Berlin as we don’t have many in Dublin where I live. The belt is a fake unfortunately, bought in a market in Italy but it’s gorgeous leather.
