I suspect what is happening is that I am more drawn to patterned items in an impulsive way (oh, pretty!) than I am to plain coloured separates. I don't generally track wears (and I think this challenge will be a kind of 'track wears' exercise for me) but I suspect that the green top is going to get worn a lot over the next 30 outfits. Re the pants. They are cute and I am sure I could wear them on cooler summer days. Today is only 23, so they would be fine. But I don't want too many items in my wardrobe that can only be worn in unusual weather conditions (knit dresses for example!). I think I am in denial about my climate. I totally agree that cotton would be a better choice but it can be hard to find cotton pants that are dressy or interesting looking. I would be willing to consider them if I did. That's interesting what you say about the thickness. I would have thought thicker would be stickier. I do have a lined pair of slouchy floral pants that I think of as Spring/Early Autumn pants.
