Olsen makes very good quality lightweight knits, but they are a little pricey - $95. But they wash really well and last forever. Their v-neck is usually available in several colours.

Thanks, guys. I'll check out some of these suggestions for sure.

Angie, I hadn't even thought of looking at Gap! In the past couple of years I've not had much luck with their tees but these new ones look promising. I'll be sure to go try them on.

Hey Diana,

I like to wear my tees long and fitted too. I sometimes have luck with old navy, h&m, victoria's secret, and even forever 21 on occasion. All except VS are very budget friendly. good luck!

try Esprit? They have tees that fit your description, except I'm not sure they're cut for a pear. But since they have free shipping/returns, I'd give it a try.

I am currently hunting for some longer length tees with long or 3/4 length sleeves to wear with jeans/pants and under cropped toppers (like my capejacket). I'd like them to hit around crotch height or slightly longer. Most of my existing long sleeve tees are a little too short or have shrunk in length (I mostly use them as layering pieces these days). My problem is that, with my pronounced pear shape, tees always either are too tight around the hips (plus then they ride up and are too short) or they are super shapeless and baggy around the waist. I want them to be pretty formfitting and sleek up top but to still fit below the waist (I have more tunic-y things that are looser around the bottom but for this, I want something more fitted).

My other requirements (yes, I know I sound like Goldilocks!):
-scoop or V-neck, absolutely no crew necks!
-cotton or other natural fibers
-not too thin and not too thick (so, not see through, but also not bulky)
-comes in nice saturated colors
-not too expensive

So, any raves or suggestions for things to try?
