Kim and Michelle, thanks for the great ideas! Body shape and bra fitting questions do seem to come up repeatedly on the forum.

Any other ideas to include in FAQ's?

HA!! Kim, we were clearly posting at the same time.
Here here to referencing the bra fitting thread! It's invaluable!
Another post that might be worth linking to is Angie's entry on wardrobe capsules. Whenever people ask how to get started revamping their style, I've noticed that's one of the posts we reference the most.

An FAQ thread is a fabulous idea, Kim!
One question I know crops up a fair bit is how to determine body type.

Q: My measurements ar X by Y by Z. Can you please tell me what body type I should be dressing for?

A: They say a picture is worth a thousand words, and in this case it applies to numbers too. Measurements aren't usually the best way to determine such things. For the best feedback, start a new thread in the "body type" section of the forum and post a picture of yourself wearing form-fitting clothing (jeans and a fitted top are perfect). Keep your arms down and take the shot from the front. Feel free to blur your face if you aren't comfortable showing it online. By looking at this picture, Angie and other forum mmembers will be able to size up your body type accurately.

another good one could be on posting a picture to identify body type... letting people know they need to post a picture in figure hugging clothing, standing straight toward the camera, arms to their sides and to get a full length shot, etc
This could alleviate the frustration of those who post a picture just to have us tell them they need to retake it.

Kim, excellent idea for a FAQ thread!

Greg, I will edit the title on my post and ask for FAQ suggestions in order to get more input. I did some searching and found that the Photobucket question has been asked before. Here's a link I found to a post by Ana where a detailed explanation for posting photos is given by Taffy.

http://youlookfab.com/welookfa.....?replies=4

Another question I occasionally see asked is how to display a profile picture, or more specifically, how to crop one.

Also, Queenie is often asked about how to create a Photobucket collage.

Sounds good. Is there a specific existing post that should be the sticky one? This would be a short term solution.

maybe a sticky thread with several of the FAQ's that seem to keep coming up. Can't think of what those FAQ's are off the top of my head, but I know there are a few things that we revisit often...

I second this request. As one with short memory and technology impaired, I forget how to do this. I'd like to be able to easily find instructions not only for setting up the account, but for using it to post to YLF.

Greg, I was wondering if it could be possible to create a sticky post (is this the right term?) with instructions on how to set up a Photobucket account? I've noticed that we often have new members who want to post pictures, but are unsure how to set up an account. I know there have been several excellent threads by members in the past, but this could save having to do a search every time the question arises. It would also remove one less hurdle for readers who may be on the fence about whether or not to post pictures.

I apologize in advance for adding one more item to your ever increasing "honey do" list!
