The ones you're describing sound spring-like. I think if the shape and color of the shoe are light, it's fine!

Suede isn't a weather issue here in Cali. for spring ! I don't know what the rules are regarding suede, but...
I love nude ,or light tones for spring/ summer! I am currently looking for some light suede strappy sandals:)

You can waterproof suede, so weather shouldn't be too much of a concern (although I live in the desert, so suede isn't an issue for me at any time of year). I like light colored suede for spring.

Sorry to be the first nay; but when I think spring I think of water and slush and mud which dont' really get along with suede :(

... but if you wore them indoor as workshoes, they could work

I decided that I really need a pair of yellow shoes. They seem right for this spring, and a nice contrast to red and navy-- which my tops are all seeming to be lately. I found perfect ones that are almost flat wedges with an almond toe-- so I can wear them to work!
But it feels like breaking the rules! Can we do suede in spring? And what is the cut off?
I really really want to wear my dark denim clamdiggers with my new spring jackets and my medium gray suede knee high boots, but again-- is it too late for suede?
