I am thinking of keeping them in suede (they are waterproof), because my other two pairs are leather, but is that going to detract from the polish factor? </p> <p>They are much more black than the close-up photo appears - more like the second picture. Calf fit is perfect and the height seems good too. However, I need to exchange for a 1/2 size up, so I have the option of smooth leather.</p> <p>Yay: suede can be polished<br /> Nay: too RATE </p>
