Jenn and MizBeeWee, you might want to look at the Victoria Emerson Apple Watch bands. Though not infused with any meaning, they have a similar beaded vibe to the Cape Diablo bands you mentioned. I can’t speak to their durability, but have often noticed some excellent sale prices.

Oh I’d love to update / upgrade my watch band/s . I only have 2 : the perforated black Nike original to the watch , and a white silicone set I switch out for spring and summer . Because my watch is black , not everything looks great with it …but it was a gift for which I am grateful . I ordered one of those case and band combos off of Amazon but it was so cheap looking irl that I couldn’t wear it . I’d like some kind of band with silver and something with some gold just to dress it up a bit .

Oooh, that band is beautiful! Very pricey, but lovely. I guess once you commit, it could make sense. I think maybe I'd want at least the stainless steel (shiny) watch case with it, though -- the soft matte aluminum probably wouldn't look as good with it.

I keep hoping they will come up with a different shape for the watch. I don't see why they couldn't....

Oh, yes, Cat2, the Lagos Caviar band is very tempting and appealing. I’ve been eyeing that one for awhile now.

Jenn, I hate to hear that the Cape Diablo bands fell apart. They are right up my alley. I had high hopes for them.

I wear my rose gold Apple Watch with the matching mesh band from Apple. I’d like to branch out, but haven’t found anything super compelling yet. (I love Angie’s new band though and something similar in black might be fun.) I had one of the beaded bands from Cape Diablo for a few weeks, and I liked how it looked but:
a. The wrap pieces kept sliding beneath the watch face and disrupting the connection, and
b) The beads started falling off after a few weeks.
I don’t think I’ll do a wrap style again. If I want a stacked look, I’ll just add bracelets.

I love dressing up my Apple watch. I have had one for many years now, so this is a collection built over time. I have a dozen or more of the simple silicone bands in a variety of colors that I change out almost daily. I purchased almost all of them from Groupon for less than $10. They hold up well, clean well and are the most comfortable and secure. I also have a multicolored woven band I purchased from Amazon I wear on occasion. It tends to slide on my arm, so I do not care for it much. I also found on Amazon a beefy clear jelly band that has a bumper around the watch face. I quite liked wearing that one. Unfortunately, it discolored over time. I should order another. Since it was clear it went with everything.
I recently was gifted with two of the beaded wrap bracelet style bands from Cape Diablo. I haven't worn them enough to have an opinion on them yet except that the multi wrap bands are hard to put on without an extra hand around.
I change out my watch faces with every holiday for a few days. My usual daily face shows a wide variety of app information. If I swap that out for too long I start to miss it.
The Apple watch can be a fun little accessory!

I have the basic velcro sport strap for daily wear and a nice tortoiseshell-look band from Machete for dressier occasions. They make some nice shades, I went for the basic brown/black tortoiseshell look.

I have a few bands that I've ordered from Amazon. My watch is the rose gold version, and I have a dark green silicone band, a stretch navy and orange band, and a really handsome rose gold and stainless chainlink metal band. I was pretty impressed with both the quality and price of the rose gold band. I haven't tried out switching watch faces.

Yes,,,I'm hoping they will work on that some more in the near future.

I will say those bands vary in quality. Some I ordered were absolutely awful (and sent back) and some have been surprisingly good. I do read the reviews. They sell them on Etsy, too, and you might find something interesting there.

Thank you, Suz. I’ve been wondering about the quality of the Amazon bands. I ordered a tan double wrap band from a different site because I love the look of the Hermes version, but found it too wide, fussy and uncomfortable, so that’s being returned as we speak. I’m currently wearing the white silicone band that came with the watch. It’s super comfortable, so I’m spoiled in that regard, but it’s not much to look at.

I’m intrigued by cases, but they make me nervous. I don’t want to scratch or damage my watch, and I think some of them are quite possibly cheap and clunky, but I have to think someone out there is offering a quality solution.

I also have the aluminum version. Like you I love the functionality…now I need the style!

I wear an Apple watch and I do have a number of different bands that I picked up on Amazon (gulp...I hate to admit I sometimes order from them). I much prefer the look of my old round faced watch...but the function of the Apple watch can't be beat, and I must admit I enjoy switching out the bands.

I haven't tried various cases, but that might be a good option. Mine is just the simple aluminum and it's not very nice to look at.

I switch out the faces, too, but that doesn't really change the look when the watch is dark. (I don't have the type that stays on all the time).

I layer with bracelets sometimes and this adds a bit of fun.

I don't have my bands in Finds, but I have a "dressy" band (chainlink in silver metal), white, hot pink, burgundy, navy, black, light grey in silicone, navy in leather ( a slimmer band), a red stretch band, a leather burgundy and pink faux Hermes band. And so on.

For those who have Apple watches — what do you do to make them look more stylish and work for various outfits and activities? Do you have a collection of bands that you swap out as needed? Do you buy and use different cases in various finishes and colors? Custom watch faces?

I’d love to see and hear about your approach to wearing and styling your watch as well as what stores and specific sources (beyond what Apple offers) you use for quality bands and accessories.
