The other thing about a jumpsuit, it is a little more daring than a dress, so perfect for this special occasion. I am sure that your step son will really appreciate the effort and care you have put into looking good for his party.</p> <p>This is a great colour for a blonde, I wear most things with gold footwear as it 'bookends' my blonde hair (Angie has a post on bookending). However as your jumpsuit is a neutral many colours are going to work beautifully with this, so wear what makes you feel good. I really like turquoise with natural leather, so I could see those colours working well in accessories, especially as you have blue eyes.</p> <p>I hope you have a brilliant time at the party. I feel like the waist hits me ok, I wouldn’t say it’s the most flattering piece I own but if I put some effort into it I might be able to get some wear out of it. What type of shoe? Strappy? Mule? I feel like I need to lengthen my legs and last question, if I try and carry it into fall, what kind of shoes and what type of topper, could I wear a jean jacket with it? I feel like thick and chunky is not the way to go but like so often on this site, just when I think something won’t work, someone comes along a shows me why it will! Thanks for all the suggestions! It was the first time I was meeting his girlfriends family and I was incredibly nervous. Like so many other events in my life, I put off shopping until the very last minute and then ended up grabbing something a little out of my budget and possibly not right for my body type. So here I am with a romper in a color I’m not quite sure I can pull off and I don’t know what kind of shoes or jewelry to wear with it. For the price I paid I need to find someway to incorporate this into my wardrobe so I can cost per wear it down a little. I tried taking one of those selfies in the mirror but I can’t do it properly. For reference, I’m 5’4, 14/16, busty, largish but, belly, Apple shaped. Fair in coloring, blue eyes and light blonde hair. Suggestions? </p>
