Flared jeans would definitely work, but I'd say keep it contemporary rather than retro. I love the idea with winter whites as per Joy and unfrumped. Suede would be nice. You might try a cashmere scarf in a color that blends with the fur. As there looks like a lot going on with the coat and collar, I'd avoid a pattern unless it is subtle. It was in great shape and felt so luxurious and fit perfectly, so I brought it home. Now it's getting cold and I'd like to wear it, though I don't know how to style it and keep it looking modern and chic (not to mention I've never worn real fur before and I'm not sure what reaction to expect, though I don't really have any objections to it).
