These are similar to my chunky Topshop booties. I do that sort of half tuck where I just cuff in a messy way and let the hem bunch at the top of the boot. Neither tucked in nor over the boot shaft, and also not rolled . I will post a pic as I did it yesterday.

Thanks, I own them, hence the challenge! Your description is accurate, and the boots are very accommodating for problem freet. Nonetheless, they have me thinking that the trend with high shaft booties only works with narrow shafts.

I've seen them in the store! They are on the big and luggy side--something that most of the other Fluevogs are like this season. Super wide at the ankle, definitely skin jeans tuckable and still have space. They also have a really round-square toebox, which is a little tougher to notice in the pictures they shoot for site.

I'm going to pick up my Fluevogs over in the store; if you'd like, I can shoot a quick picture to show you how it would be.

Socks might help ease the break -- either black to extend the line of the boot or coordinated with your pants would be the obvious choices. Or go all-out funky and choose brightly patterned stockings like some of the instagram photos show!

Hard to tell if a given pair of jeans will be tuckable with ankle boots or not; sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. These look pretty forgiving, though, with that side slit.

Good thing my size is sold out in the blue, or I'd be lusting after them...

These are a great pair of higher shaft booties, but they raise a dilemma for those with short shins. If you roll your jeans above the shaft, the hems look too high because they are closer to your kneecap than your ankle. Visually, it looks very off if you have long femurs and short shins. I wonder if you can roll them, while keeping them tucked in, since a sliver of skin will be seen on the side? Or should these be worn with skinnies entirely tucked in? Since the shaft is loose, the pant leg won't comfortably surround it and will likely catch on the top of the shaft when walking.
