I do that sort of half tuck where I just cuff in a messy way and let the hem bunch at the top of the boot. Neither tucked in nor over the boot shaft, and also not rolled . Or go all-out funky and choose brightly patterned stockings like some of the instagram photos show!&nbsp;</p> <p>Hard to tell if a given pair of jeans will be tuckable with ankle boots or not; sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. If you roll your jeans above the shaft, the hems look too high because they are closer to your kneecap than your ankle. Visually, it looks very off if you have long femurs and short shins. I wonder if you can roll them, while keeping them tucked in, since a sliver of skin will be seen on the side? Or should these be worn with skinnies entirely tucked in?
