I have also been looking at a grey/silver hi lo dressy sweater to go with the pants. </p> <p>The issue is mine are not true slouchy pants as they are flat over the tummy. It could just be a tick of mine, but I am always obsessing about tops that end exactly at the widest point of my hips.</p> <p>Try the pants with a white button down.</p> <p>Try the pants with some booties or trendy shoes.</p> <p>ETA: just read the other suggestions. If you dont' want to tuck, what about an easy tuck? That is my word for loose tucking. Not exactly a sloppy tuck and not as deliberate as a semi tuck. You would need a silky flowy blouse for that concept to work, but it may be an easier gentler way to get into tucking.</p> <p>I agree with hi lo top. Also, navy would look great with this shade of red.
