Angie- no worries at all. My goodness I'm floored by how much energy you put into replying to every single post here. You are absolutly amazing and I am ever so grateful to have my entourage of personal stylists here at my fingertips! Please never ever feel that you must reply to every single outfit I post, or every single comment I make. Sometimes I hate to make another comment because I know that you're going to then take the time to comment back and I feel bad taking up so much of your precious time.
Go make yourself a cup of tea, put your feet up and enjoy your evening

Kim, sometimes I get so blown away by a killer outfit that I forget to recognize the other fabulous outfits in the same thread. That’s what happened here! I need to work on rectifying that.

I’m proud of you that you’re wearing your purple blazer – it looks fab with red. (Thank you for the compliment on my blog post outfit. You’re a honey).

The only thing I'm on the fence about is the long sweater. I can't tell if it's because I don't like it, or because I LOVE the cropped jackets so much more. Hopefully that's helpful to you, lol.

sara- can't wait to see a pic of you wearing my jacket ;-)

Angie- I wasn't directing that "silence" comment toward you, I've just learned that when people don't comment about a particular option it usually means it wasn't a hit. But thanks for the affirmation. I actually liked it too, just had a couple reservations. And, your outfit in todays blog post was tripple killer Angie! I would never in a million years think to wear green shoes with such a combo.

I'm very envious of your fab red tunic, Queenie. I really like the cream jacket option - the colors just pop! The last cardi option looks very cozy and fun, but in a different way. Looks like you have several options, and it just depends on your mood

#6 was the one that made me stop and go WOW. Ofcourse after reading that Angie like's #5 I looked at that one again and it is really killer with that gorgeous cream jacket. Looks like you have many options for this tunic. I'm really wanting tunics now.
I like #5 with the shoe and the boot, but the shoe gives a bit of girly elegance.

queenie - Today I went to Burlington Coat factory (because tricia, I think, had such a cute black 3/4 sleeve moto from there) and I came home with the same off-white JouJou jacket!

sooooo, the cream jacket and denim jacket are approved, but your silence on the purple jacket says "no"

carole, I have loved that jacket- it's from Macy's. I throw it on ALL the time.
http://www1.macys.com/catalog/.....ryID=35788

angie- thanks! I'll wear that combo next time (it was raining though, and here in CA we are a tad weather sensitive so rain drives us to pull out the comfy wear ;-)

Kristine, I tried belting that cardi once, and it was not a pretty sight. I"m too short waisted to belt over a cardi, but underneath often works. I'll have to try that.

My favorite is with the straight jeans and cream jacket. I also liked it with the denim jacket. The outfit with the sweater looks cozy, but I might define your waist with a belt, either over the whole thing or just over the tunic. The tunic looks great!

Love your tunic, I really liked it with the jean jacket and and white moto jacket (I'm jealous, where did you get it?) I liked the cozy sweater too with the larger necklace, but really all outfits looked great. I like the boots best, but the other shoe/boot looked good too.

sara- I guess I like to look tough I definitely feel way more sassy in my boots.

Julie- I had arrived at the same conclusion about the denim/black and the white with the jeans. I think being a summer, I have a hard time wearing too harsh of contrasts. I hadn't even thought about the red/white/blue thing-- no that won't bother me. I just wont wear an american flag necklace ;-)

Marianna, that decides it- no red hat society outfit for me.

Jean and Janet- yes I think I need a printed scarf to break up the solid colors going on.

thanks everyone for the input. it is so much appreciated.

I'm not sure which outfit I like the best, but you're giving me some good ideas! I also have a red tunic/short dress. I'm trying to decide on black pants or denim skinnies.

I think the long necklace looks good with the outfit, but a scarf might give you more oomph.

I think the jacket looks great with the tunic, but the purple's not really showing up so I can't speak to the color combo.
I really like the white/cream with red combo.
Especially like your last two necklaces and my favorite shoe in the last two pics is the heel.
Wondering if a longer accessoriy such as a scarf would work with the white jacket and tunic.
Really like the tunic!

I have to run, but wanted to say my fave is the cream jacket with the tunic. I know what you mean about the red/black combo. I am returning a red/black dress today - it just seems too dramatic or something, but the cream jacket does something good to the mix! Also, maybe because the cream is a bit more cropped than the denim, I like its proportions with the tunic length.

Boots look tougher (in a good way) than shoes, but either look works well.
I'm glad you kept the tunic.

I decided to wear my new red tunic yesterday, and as always had half my closet on my bed by the time I left the house...

I"d love your thoughts on these attempts.....

these first three are with my black skinnies and brown boots- I know I need a better necklace than this and it would help if my hair were not wet as well ;-0

1) http://www.flickr.com/photos/4.....285318752/ (does the red and purple seem too 80's?)
2) http://www.flickr.com/photos/4.....285318882/
3) http://www.flickr.com/photos/4.....285318926/

then I changed my pants something about the black seemed too stark against the red for me

here I have denim straights and a variety of shoe options.
4) http://www.flickr.com/photos/4.....284574979/
5) http://www.flickr.com/photos/4.....284574493/

Why is it I don't like regular shoes anymore? I feel top heavy without boots on.
I grabbed my black boots and tried this long sweater for the cozy factor... This is what I ended up wearing. I kept switching the sweater for the purple jacket (didn't get a pic) which I really liked, but the cozy factor won over for the day

6) http://www.flickr.com/photos/4.....285319398/

feel free to comment on the flickr sight if it's more convenient for you...
as always, any and all critique welcome... ruthless honesty much appreciated- it takes more than "I hate your outfit" to make me cry
