Some I will only wear with other lights (white, cream) or with high contrast ink or black (That's for the really light washes).&nbsp;</p> <p>For a medium light wash, almost anything goes, but that might be because my own contrast levels are low to medium. Yes, abc I think it is a contrast issue. I love patterns and color, and am a fairly bold dresser, but somehow have a hard time with a darker color on the top than the bottom. When I wear dark denim, I stick toward blouses with a darker base. I've just got to branch out and adjust my eye! In general I prefer light denim for S/S but when I do bring it out for F/W it's usually with darker, deeper, and/or more saturated colors. Charcoal, evergreen or olive, burgundy or crimson. Could it be a Contrast level issue? For example I like high contrast with my outfits so with dark denim I prefer tops that are light in color.
