Those blue ones are hot and would definitely look intentional. I think they could go with skirts and skinnies or cropped jeans, but I'd consider how that cobalt would look with the shade of denim you typically wear. I've made the mistake of buying blue things to wear with jeans and they often felt off.

But if you wear other neutral colored bottoms, I say go for those blue ones!

I too have similar ones in white. after trying on many, ordering and returning two pairs of loafers with a harder sole I realized that the flexible soles are the only kind that do not slip on my heels. Also the regular hard soled loafers look preppy to me, and these others look more current. Love my white, and may get something similar in a bronze , silver or maybe another color. Someone on here posted silver or pewter that were awesome too.

I've had my eye on them, too, Echo. They're all over the place. I'm not sure they'll be enough support for me and my foot issues, but I might give them a try. I'm going to be following your thread!

I laughed when I read this post because I bought a pair of white perforated driving mocs by Cynthia Rowley just today! I love them!

These threads of mine are both loafers with boyfriend jeans. Lilac Cole Haans and another pair of black CH that are very similar to a driving moc. Maybe this isn't what you're looking for though.

I have lately been enamoured with driving mocs. They typically look similar to loafers except are a bit lower profile and have nubs on the bottom or a flexible sole instead of a harder one. I wouldn't have any issue styling, say. black and white loafers, but I have tried on some driving mocs and I cannot seem to shake the feeling that they are tragically unhip. I feel decades older than I am whenever I try them on and look in the mirror. They tend to look like slippers, especially since they are usually one solid colour and soft looking.

So why bother, you may ask. Because they are ridiculously, amazingly, transformatively comfortable. I was considering buying some in a vibrant cobalt so that they look more intentional and less, "These shoes are neutral so others won't notice as quickly that I have totally given up on style."

I am asking because I KNOW some ladies here have styled killer outfits with loafers, if not driving mocs. They don't look at ALL like they have given up or frumpy - the way I see myself whenever I try them on. So help me out and post pics either of yourself or even blog pics of someone else wearing loafers/driving mocs in a stylish way. Or, if you feel that driving mocs are too close to slippers to be worn in public, please say so! I am open to all perspectives here!
