Echo, can you post pictures of your bag, and of you wearing it?

In my suit years, my ever-present silk scarves did a fair amount of time tied to my workbag. (A Lambertson Truex was my workhorse; are they still around?) That can easily veer frumpy, and probably did in my case sometimes bc it was just utilitarian, but sometimes it can be a coherent look.

Thank you! I absolutely love the cobalt shopper, but the neutral bag looks very versatile, too. And I love that you styled them both casually and dressy. I need to explore outfit options with my new bag.

Me, me!

I loved my cobalt Ralph Lauren shopper. It was my most used bag all summer. I wore it as a "third piece" quite a lot when layering wasn't possible, or I colour blocked outfits with it. (See pics.)

I liked the style/ shape so much that I picked up a similar Tiganello at Winner's in taupe. I don't like it anywhere near as well, but I do like it and use it.

One reason I don't like it as much: It's a bit softer on the outside and inside and I preferred the stiff structure of the Lauren.

(On the plus side, this one has more and handier pockets...but it's missing a key fob).

The other reason I think I like it less is that it's a neutral. It turns out I enjoy bright happy bags. I wasn't sure I could find one that would work with my winter coats. I realize now that no one neutral other than black works with all my coats, either. And I did want a "bookending" bag for my hair -- which this one is, I think. So I'm not sorry I purchased it, and am super happy with the shape and size for me. I am 5'4" by the way.

The only thing i don't like is that my computer doesn't quite fit into the blue one. I can make it fit (by squeezing) in the Tig. Or I can carry it vertically in the RL -- but that's not the safest idea.

I realize this seems like a silly question, but I generally carry smaller shoulder bags or clutches. I just recently purchased a mid-sized "shopper tote" with longer straps (can fit over the shoulder) and a zip top. I am in love with the bag, but since I am not used to carrying anything like it, I am at a loss about how to wear it.

Anyone have photos of them wearing a similar bag? Blogs with pics? I know people carry bags like this all the time, but I somehow have trouble seeing it as a handbag and not... I don't know, a beach bag or something (despite it not being nearly that large nor having a summer colour/pattern).

I'm just looking for inspiration and enough confidence in a new style to rock this bag!
