I agree with Angie that the poster had the ingredients for a dramatic capsule. I think I could put together something similarly “showy” for winter using burgundy, velvet and metallics. But I would struggle with summer, where my clothing leans a lot more casual. It kind of confirms my view that the runway is about creating an exaggerated, dramatic, inspirational look. Generally speaking those looks get pared back by retail for real life wear.
