I wear my Danskos with bootcut jeans and with my Express Editor flared dress pants. The sandals also work will with my capri pants; the capri pants are very slim in the leg and on the shorter side.

So ohmigosh, when I was in baking school we had a guest chef come to talk to us. Forget her red wine raisin bread. Her outfit was sooo fantastic. She had on dark, flared pants with a stripe and patent leather Danskos. White, crisp button down. Sharp as a tack, I tell you. The outfit has stayed with me all these years.

Thanks for all the input, everyone!
DonnaF, yes I know of barkingdogs.com and I've tried so many shoes that were highly recommended, but Danskos won out most of the time. I do have a pair of open-toed Fly London's for summer, but they haven't worn as well as my Danskos. I also have a pair of Jaffa boots that were featured on barkingdogs and those were a success, too. I guess I'm just tired of ordering and returning, ordering and returning. I just want some go-to shoes that I know will get me through the day and not have me in agony! I know Danskos work and I'm going to make it easy and turn them into my "trademark" shoe. But I'm determined to not look stylish and well put-together. After all, I'm in the fashion industry and I'm climbing the corporate ladder.

You are so fortunate that you can wear most Danskos; I can only wear the ones with the flattest footbeds so their newest booties and cutest shoes don't work for me. :( Do you know about BarkingDogShoes.com? http://www.barkingdogshoes.com/

In general, I would say to avoid looks that scream for a delicate refined shoe. If you want to wear something very feminine, I would go for purposeful funky juxtaposition and wear defiantly colorful Danksos. JMHO.

I only wear mine with boot cuts, I have huge feet, and otherwise I think the Professionals look like boats! Mine are also navy, so they kind of blend with denim. I do keep saying I'm going to buy a shiny pair for work this winter though. I think that some days, you just need a comfort break - although I can't see myself wearing them with boyfriend crops, like on the Dansko page! That seems like a recipe for Frump Disaster!

I have several pairs of Dansko clogs and believe it or not I actually love them. I love that they lengthen me a little, but don't feel like heels. Also, I like to wear interesting fun socks because of the open back. I do like bootcut jeans. I think they minimize their bulkiness.

I LURVE my Danskos - probably half my shoe collection is Dansko. I usually pair the professional with a boot cut, but otherwise, I treat them like any other shoe and don't worry about trying to work them into my style except for taking into account things I would for any other shoe - color, style etc.

My feet are happy in Danskos, and there are some stylish options available. I have a few pairs of boots, sandals and pumps. I don't care for the clogs, though.

I have the following:

Dansko Buffy boot, in grey and in dark brown:

http://www.6pm.com/dansko-buffy-black-nappa

Dansko Ryder, in black:

http://www.6pm.com/dansko-ryde.....in-leather

Dansko Nell sandal, in sand dollar:

http://www.6pm.com/dansko-nina.....d_sims_p_1

Dansko Rowena, in black:

http://www.6pm.com/dansko-rowe.....in-leather

I just went to Dansko to find a pair of cute flats I tried on last week for you, and saw this feature -- http://www.dansko.com/HowToWear/

But these are the shoes I tried, I think that as flats, they're cute, but can easily be dressed up. Luckily, Dansko is coming up in the world of shoe styles, and have moved beyond basic clogs to also have boots and pumps. I'm sure you'll be able to find some to fit in with the MOTG look. Check the how to wear link, I'm certainly about to pin a few looks for weekends :).

First, I would take a look at Angie's recommendations for your particular body shape. This will at least give you an idea of how to dress.

As for your shoes, a lot of people rather like the look of Danskos. I know I lived in them my last two months of pregnancy!

But if you really don't want to draw attention to them, I think a wide leg trouser or a boot cut would work best. These pair well with so many of Angie's MOTG formulas! Smart button downs, fun tees with a jacket, even flowy tops and surrendering sweaters.

Hello All,
I've finally surrendered and have quit fighting my feet. You see, I work in retail (selling children's clothing) and on my feet all day. I'm on the management track so I need to look put together but my hallux rigidus/arthritis/plantar fasciitus limit my shoe choice to Danskos. I am not limited to just the Professional, most Danskos work on my feet.
I'm turning a new leaf creating a new look for myself, trying to put together cute/funky outfits around the Dansko shoe line. Because Danskos are fairly casual and I work with moms I thought a MOTG formula would work best.
Bear in mind I'm 54 and pear-shaped with a tummy that I like to cover. Any ideas?
