Tall boots, tights, slip if you're concerned about VPL. I've worn similar with long cardis and cropped jackets most.

I agree about trying to style the dress with longer blazer, I wore such an outfit recently and it got a lot of positive reactions here. Also, all sorts of vest and waistcoats would work well with it.

Also agreeing with tights. Or Jockey slip shorts (no control/compression).

I like the compression and smoothing of Spanx under knitwear.

I second tights. I sometimes top them with a Spanx half slip if the dress is on the thin side.

I like tights with a sweaterdress, they smooth out anything you want smoothed out.

How would you wear it?

I'm back seeking some outfit inspiration (you were all so helpful last time

).

I've replaced my old black knitted dress (it got clawed by my friend's dog sadly and pulled!) with this chocolate-brown (also known as 'Amethyst'?) colour dress from Threadbare. I'm 5'4" but the petite version seems to fit ok (falls just below my knees).

I've been looking for style inspiration myself and saw a picture of @callherclassy (Instagram) wearing a blazer over a knitted dress - I'd have never have thought of that but it looked great! I'm going to try it out with my black blazer. Just got to work out which boots to put with it too...

Also, any recommendations for comfy seam-free underwear? I usually go to M&S for my underwear but would appreciate any recommendations you may have.

Thank you!
