I love all black. Very opaque tights with a textured sweater dress would look great- even with black boots. Charcoal tights or textured tights would also work with black footwear. Brown , chestnut, red, grey, wine- all great colors for footwear. I would probably wear a simple opaque with red booties- textured might be too much going on. Or that can be fun: texture similar to the sweater cabling pattern but sheer. If I wear it with tights, which seems appropriate, as it hits me above the knee, should they be black? If I wear black tights, do I wear black footwear? Boots? Shoes? I did receive my new 50-50 OTK boots (swoon) which, of course, are black, but have not worn them yet. Not sure why this is stumping me...I'd wear chestnut boots and black tights (if I had chestnut boots). Am I missing an obvious solution? Should I make it a deliberate all black ensemble? </p>
