I'm pretty sure this is something I will dream about but not pull the plug on, but still, all the ideas are getting my head in the right place for a more stylish fall (I hope). I'm definitely doing plaid of some type, and maybe a more versatile, less refined dress that I can more easily tomboy-down.</p> <p>Summer has been such a sartorial bust for me -- I've got high hopes for autumn.</p> <p>Yesterday, DD stared at me .... I had on white pants, silver sandals, and a pink tee, and then she said: "It's country club mom!" And starting laughing wildly. Not that that is a bad look; it's just not me -- and we both knew it. For fall the sheer sleeves can be easily covered with a blazer, moto jacket, or denim. Silk with thick tights doesn't strike me as the best idea. Clingy, seasonally confused, etc. But that's in my winters....to me it looks like an early fall item when you can still get away with bare legs and booties.
