I visited the NY Met a few months later and I wanted to spend as much time in the museum shop as I did the exhibits! As to their quality, I pulled out a pair of 30+ year old pair of the Met signature earrrings that were my moms and they still look great. They featured the jewellery at the exhibit and I was very attracted to it. I also associate “Byzantine” with complexity and I am feeling an attraction to more complex patterns, so the title fit from that perspective too.</p> <p>ChristelJ, hi!
