For me, the adjectives come first and then the moniker. So maybe going at it that way will help. There is color play and layers and interesting adornment (ruffles and lace), with a level of refinement (polish) applied. These words are subjective so pick the ones that resonate with you. If mermaid denotes these aspects to you, than it’s the right one for you. I do have several words I’m pondering. Mermaid, because of colors it evokes, playful, because I have little children and I need to dress in a way that I can move and have fun with them, polish, because I’m really not happy in super casual clothes usually.
