Or I guess you could just buy what you love, without consideration for cost (within reason I guess, even though I have no idea about your budget). I feel that I still have a long way to go and am not at a happy place in my style evolution. However, slowly but surely I am moving towards it. This is what makes me so excited about 2013. I am really looking forward to explore and experiment. Following are some of the things, I already know.</p> <p>1) I bat for team maximal. I love patterns, colours and accessories.</p> <p>2) I look good in ivory colour and look awful in black.</p> <p>3) I don’t wear dresses or skirts and love my trousers. I currently own only one denim skirt and haven’t worn it in 2012 at all. I also own a black and white sheath dress that does not fit me well and hence does not get used as much either.</p> <p>4) I have lots of bright colours in my wardrobe right now (many shades of orange) but they are not coherent.</p> <p>5) I like variety and get bored easily wearing same outfits which makes capsules very important.</p> <p>6) I don’t have extremely fussy feet but like shoes with mid heels and high comfort factor.</p> <p>These are my goals. Now I realize these are many goals and it may not be possible to meet all of them in 2013 but I want to accomplish at least a couple this year. </p> <p>1) add more light coloured footwear to my shoe wardrobe.</p> <p>2) increase the dressy portion of my wardrobe.</p> <p>3) Buy an ivory top or sweater</p> <p>4) Try to add more neutral classic pieces</p> <p>5) Buy at the most one item that is on trend every season to avoid boredom </p>
