Angie and YLF forum members, individually and collectively, play a special role. I have several close friends who share an interest in fashion and whose advice I value. I also have some sales associates whose opinions I trust, and a friend who owns a boutique, with whom I have a slightly different relationship, since I met her and got to know her outside the store first. And DH is a good judge of style that suits me, too. I don't think any of them would ever give a negative comment if they didn't think what I was wearing looked great, but they do give positive compliments when they see something they like. It has been very helpful, because I work from home and rarely get feedback. My hair stylist, M, is very stylish himself and when you arrive he gives you the once over and just once in a while he'll drop the ultimate accolade (well for him) which is "Oooh I really like the &lt;earring or bag or coat etc&gt; action". I've been seeing him for years and its a relatively rare thing for him to say. Somehow I always feel like I've got a gold star LOL and usually it is something that is a bit of statement piece for me or a little outside my usual zone.</p> <p>Always know I've kicked a goal with an item or an outfit if M bestows his seal of approval </p>
