How fun!! I loved seeing all your outfits that you felt were really you. I agree with everyone else.

I am going to do what you have and put together a collage of pictures that I feel describe myself to come up with my style personality. What a great idea.
Vickie

Mary, Museum Gal and Adelfa, thank you, I like the Rocker Classic. Just hope that is still age appropriate!

Parsley, thank you for the addition of playful; that sounds fun!

Kary, perhaps the whimsical is similar to 'playful?' And I am quite flattered by the Euro!

Jewell, I like all of those suggestions, thank you! And I must admit to loving my closet!

Suz, you have such a great handle on your style. I know that you have said that it has taken you some time to get there, but your wardrobe is now so YOU. I am honored to share similar preferences.

RoseandJoan, thank you!

LBD, wow! Luxe or rich is quite the compliment! Thank you!

Amy, the jeans are from Chico's. The fit of their pants tend to work well for me and the denim is heavy enough for fall and winter.

Caro, thank you. Edgy modern classic makes me happy

I see edgy modern classic. I also see the "rock" vibe MK sees but maybe edgy covers that but allows for other looks too. You are looking fab whatever you decide to call it

What Mary said, or Jewell's CRC. Love both!

Have a big Envy over your white jeans in #15. Which brand are they?

The word that kept coming to my mind was 'rich'. Luxe, even in your simpler stuff. It makes me think of a much more reined-in, elegant "Sophie" from the show "Two Broke Girls" . (And let me add, Sophie is one of top ten all-time favorite TV show characters, ever).

I think Mary K hit the nail on the head, but I'm going to add just.one.more.word:

Euro Rocker Classic

(Then I scrolled up and saw Whimsical Euro Classic - which fits, too!)

Definitely modern. Definitely classic. And I do see that bit of edge or the rocker vibe. I love Mary's suggestion, or Jewell's last one.

It took me well over a year on YLF before I had a style definition, and even then I didn't come up with it myself. It isn't as easy as it seems, even when we know our preferences as clearly as you do.

By the way, your likes are all my likes. Except our colours differ a bit.

Your closet sure looks like a fun place to play. Okay, here are the phrases tat popped into mind as I viewed your pictures...
Graphic Simplicity
Edgy Simplicity
Classy Rocker Chic or CRC for short

Rocker Classic

I see a lot of Modern Classic in your style, but the pointy silver boots and fab moto jacket make me think "Rocker Chick." (Or "Rocker Chic!" )

I've been on YLF for over a year now and I've yet to settle on a style descriptor. Early in the year I was eager to find that perfect descriptor but I don't think I had shared enough photos for anyone to help me with a definition. In this post, I'm including some random photos of outfits that feel like "me" along with some of the musings I've added to my wardrobe notebook in Evernote.

Some of the things I like:
Simple designs
Strong colors
Minimal more than ALGO
Prefer solids over prints
In prints, prefer graphic over floral
Color blocking
Black and white
Edgy
Slouchy, fluid, oversized but not head to toe- one area needs to be more slim or slightly fitted
Statement bags
Silver
Colors- neutrals of white, black, gray and a bit of navy
Colors- red, purple, cobalt, aqua/turquoise, mustard, citron, emerald, burgundy

I don't like (for me):
Ruffles
Bows
Girly
Whimsical
Small floral prints
Pastels
Fussy designs
Brown
Khakis
Preppy
Bombshell
Sporty
Most pattern mixing
"Country club matron"

I love jeans and prefer pants over skirts, though I do like some dresses. I prefer clothes that are fuss free and comfortable. I might wear a layering tee with a jacket or cardigan but never a tee, a sweater and a blazer- that's too much going on for me.

In my younger years I preferred a rocker chick vibe. I would say that I want to have a bit of edge but nothing dramatic and I don't like to look costumey.

So wise Fabbers, I would love your insight. What words might you use for my style? Or do I even have a style??

Thanks for your help!
