Like cciele, I am most frequently complimented on my shoes (which are never heels), or, when I was in more of an accessorizing-phase, my rings. My all time favorite, though, was when a little girl, maybe six years old, whispered to me, "I like your shoes." I gave her a big smile and thanks and told her I liked her (sparkly) tights. I enjoy complimenting strangers all the time.</p> <p>It makes my heart sink when I give a woman a compliment on something that is flattering, like, "the color of that top really brings out your eyes" and they immediately say "oh, this? I got it for $2 at Ross" or "It was on clearance." I've never understood why they feel compeled to mention prices or deals.
