Although, this past fall, I bought a pair of shooties ("Coverup"), and sized down to a 9N. The last on the shoe is kind of long.</p> <p>If you can, try some on in your local Nordies to get an idea of the sizing, even if it isn't the style that you are seeking.</p> <p>If you can only order online, get a couple of sizes and send back whatever doesn't work. At least you'll know what to do. Yes, they are for a narrower foot. I have a long narrow foot and these shoes have been wonderful for me--I've been wearing them for 25 years. (Try to find a 10 1/2 narrow--or medium--many manufacturers don't make them. This makes SW worth the money to me.)</p> <p>Compared to Cole Hahn they run smaller and narrower, same as for Kenneth Cole. </p> <p>Don't know how they run in really high heels. Depending on the "pointiness" of the toe, maybe even a whole size. I was gifted two pair of beautiful pointy-toed pumps in size 6.5 and they fit rather snugly.
