I've got wide shoulders also and find boucle jackets a special challenge with all that shoulder structure plus the fuzzy cloth. What about deconstructing it a bit? A few raw edges loosens it up and works better with stompy boots. If this jacket is not BA enough for your current style direction, you should hang onto it to see if it is more you in the future. An accessory capsule of maybe 5 pieces (I like odd numbers) that are more “you” can pull this basic outfits into your comfort zone for a reasonable cost.</p> <p>I would start with black badass boots with buckles - like motorcycle boots. A little less polished.</p> <p>Then, how about about adding (vintage!) scarf with green and black, funky earrings, a studded bracelet, a green bag, an unusual badass belt or necklace that has an element of the green to tie it together.
