It is a preference thing. But all of their perfectors are highly, highly rated. Opal has a pink undertone and moonstone, a yellow one. Many people can wear the two somewhat interchangably, but I cannot. I go with opal, as moonstone looks visibly yellow. (My skin is similiar to Lisa Eldridge's, and while I can wear MOST of the same base colors as she, there are some differences.) FWIW, Nars' creamy concealers also look too yellow on me.  When I was a teenager, the kids called out "horse face!" in the hallways. But now, in my 30s, with Becca's highlights, I routinely get stopped by someone staring at me and telling me what I beautiful face I have. I'm telling you, that stuff is liquid gold. Basically, strobing is a new iteration of the super-popular contouring and highlighting trend. By applying copious amounts of highlighter to key areas of the face - the tops of the cheekbones, the tip of the nose, the center of the forehead, etc - you fake the appearance of being lit from within. The heaviness and harshness of contouring is replaced with a more dewy and youthful look. As I mentioned it before, I would like to give it a try. Just wondering which highlighter will match my skintone the best.. Basically, it is a technique that involves highlighting the face...and skipping the contouring. You can go over the top (which I find weird), or stay subtle.
