Yep, they stretch out 1/2 size or so. I always cringed a bit at putting on my Gap L&Ls when they were just freshly laundered, but loved them after they stretched a bit, which didn't take long. Then I'd wear them for days to avoid having to break them in again!

I bought a pair of white L&L from GAP last year and I agree that they stretch about half a size.

I've worn the blue ones (size 8) two different days now, so I guess they're mine! I must have been a little bloated when I first tried them on. They feel ok now and you are right - they seem to have relaxed a little and are comfortable.
I found they stretched out about 1/2 a size on me. But this was a pair from about 8 years ago so who knows what they are like now! I found I always had muffin top, even though they would bag out in the bum.
I ordered white Gap 1969 Long and Lean jeans in 3 sizes - 8, 10, and 12. The 12 is way too big. The 10 is a little loose but certainly comfortable. The 8 is tight and gives me some muffin top but looks better on my rear.

How much stretch should I expect from them? I'm trying to decide between the 8 and 10. I also got a pair of dark blue denim in the same style and they only had the 8. Serious muffin top but otherwise very nice. I need to post pics to do a K/R but I don't have time right now!
