I was wearing 3" heels with them and the hems do not cover the heel. They can't - they aren't wide enough to fall completely over the shoes. Angie deemed that fine and that as long as the break in front is good, not a problem. I do not plan to tuck into boots and if I need to hem, I will optimize for heel heights upto 1.5 inches.</p> <p>2) These green moto skinnies are the perfect length for me and like nothing else I have in my wardrobe. You can't see it in my photo but they <a HREF="http://www.gap.com/browse/product.do?cid=65899&amp;vid=1&amp;pid=846333">have zippers</a> on the back of the calves. Although I've been analyzed as an hourglass, in these photos I really look like a pear. I haven't yet decided how long a top to wear with these - if the length shown in the front view is acceptable or if I need to cover the whole butt as if they were leggings. </p>
