I have been folding/rolling my skinny and straight leg jeans a lot this year. That way you can adapt to any footwear. However it is a casual look.

I like the moto skinnies on you.

Mo, your straight legs look fantastic on you. A little scrunch is ok but I think I have *way* too much scrunch on mine. I will hem the straight leg jeans by 1.5 inches as Angie recommends.

Here are better (and full length) photos of the green moto skinnies.

I typically buy jeans a little snug because they always bag out after wearing. If I need to size up on these, then I'll just return them because then the waist will be too baggy and I'll have even more room in the calves.

Sylvie, the straight leg jeans should be a little shorter to my eye. Perhaps an inch and a half shorter.

The green skinnies look just a little too snug. Can you size up? Or maybe we just need a clearer photograph.

I had questions about straight legs and length a few weeks back, as did Queen Mum as I recall. I was wearing 3" heels with them and the hems do not cover the heel. They can't - they aren't wide enough to fall completely over the shoes. Angie deemed that fine and that as long as the break in front is good, not a problem. All this to say, I would err on the side of less pooling than more, personally.
And like Lyn and Ana, I would love to see full shots of the green motos!

The straight leg jeans are too "scrunched" for my taste when wearing the flats, but I think they look good with the heels. Could you post a full length picture of the moto pants, please? : )

Hi Sylvie! I'm not a hems expert, but since your straight legged jeans are almost skinnies, I think you may be all right leaving them as they are and scrunching them, since they don't touch the ground.

We need full length pics of the green pants. They look cool from what I can see, and I like the wide waistband.

I've finally found jeans to expand the colors/silhouettes in my wardrobe.

1) This is my first pair of straight legs jeans, worn with a flat sandal and 3 inch heel.

Is the ankle creasing acceptable on the flat sandal side?
If not, how much do I need to hem - till it resembles the amount of creasing with the 3 inch heel?

I would like to avoid hemming so I can wear it with all heel heights. I do not plan to tuck into boots and if I need to hem, I will optimize for heel heights upto 1.5 inches.

2) These green moto skinnies are the perfect length for me and like nothing else I have in my wardrobe. You can't see it in my photo but they have zippers on the back of the calves. Although I've been analyzed as an hourglass, in these photos I really look like a pear. I haven't yet decided how long a top to wear with these - if the length shown in the front view is acceptable or if I need to cover the whole butt as if they were leggings.
