You don’t wear heels so they should work equally well with your flats. You might find that a slightly longer boot (like an inch longer) will work a little better. The thigh is also slightly relaxed so it looks like they're tapered rather than straight, but I have heavier thighs so I prefer not to wear my jeans too snug. I was looking for boots I could wear with the jeans I have, so buying new jeans just to wear with these boots isn't practical. I have a cream pair very similar to these, that are a little longer on the leg and I tuck my straight leg jeans into them all the time and it works perfectly. Is the opening of the boot wide enough or are your jeans too long?
