The smoking on the one seems a bit too casual. This is a dressy evening event. I could go with a print but wouldn't want large flowers - maybe something more subtle.</p> <p>I think the problem is that I have that "perfect" item in my head - and now I can't find it. A silk navy v-neck maybe with a faux wrap that is sleeveless but has wide enough straps not to worry about straps showing or that weird spot just under the arms.
